SIA Group wins major vehicle sales contract

SIA Group are proud to announce a new major vehicle sales contract which will mean regular vehicle auctions to take place commencing in early 2012.

The vehicle auctions will complement the Groups existing monthly auction sales of assets and inventory and will include a wide range of vehicles.

Further details of the upcoming sales will be announced shortly.

SIA Group launch London Office

As a result of continuous growth and new service offerings we have expanded the operation with the opening of a new London office.

The London office will leverage off the existing infrastructure in Brighton and focus on asset valuation, advisory and disposal work for asset based lenders, banks, lessors and insolvency practitioners.

The group’s specialist knowledge of machinery and equipment, inventory and receivables is in demand from lending institutions for a variety of transactions, driven by a need to understand the risk exposure and a need to provide solutions to recover their exposure.

New Director Appointment at SIA Group

Matt Earl has joined the board of SIA Group London, a specialist provider of asset valuation, advisory and disposal services to lenders, corporate recovery specialists and corporates.

Matt brings a wealth of experience in the asset valuation sector having spent a combined 13 years in various roles at Lombard Asset Finance / RBS and most recently as Head of Valuation Operations with GoIndustry DoveBid plc.

Matt has undertaken numerous machinery, equipment and inventory appraisals and disposals in the UK, Europe and North America. These include inventory work-outs and pan-European combined plant and machinery and inventory appraisals for UK, European and USA based asset based lenders and insolvency practitioners.

Matt is a qualified Chartered Surveyor with the RICS and a presenter on the ‘Inventory as Collateral for Lending’ training course for the Asset Based Finance Association (ABFA).

Paul Craig heads up SIA Group London

SIA Group has expanded its team with the appointment of Paul Craig, who joins from Investec Bank plc.

Paul who is ACIS qualified has considerable experience in the financial services industry having worked in various roles at RBS, GoIndustry DoveBid plc and most recently as head of ABL portfolio and risk within Investec’s Growth & Acquisition Finance team.

Paul will launch the London office and focus on delivering a range of lender services, including distinctive inventory valuation and receivables appraisal products and corporate recovery services.
