Paddy Gastrell has joined leading independent asset valuation, advisory and disposal specialists SIA Group as Senior Appraiser

Paddy joins SIA Group with 35 years plant and machinery valuation and asset disposal experience gained in a wide variety of industry sectors. Prior to joining SIA Group  Paddy ran his own independent plant and machinery valuation consultancy for 8 years, Harriss Gastrell, acting for many of the UK’s leading valuation firms. Paddy was also previously a Director of international asset management consultants, Charterfields Limited.

Paddy, a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, will be based out of SIA Group’s Brighton office. His appointment comes after a year of double-digit growth that has seen the SIA Group strengthen their position as valuer of choice within the asset based lending, financial sponsor and restructuring communities.

Paddy said: “I have worked alongside the SIA Group team on a variety of projects and have been consistently impressed by their professionalism and ambition. The business is going places and it is a very exciting time to be coming on board.”
